High School Principal

I am very excited to be the Principal of Dallas Center-Grimes High School, as we have the best students and staff in the state! We serve approximately 500 students in grades 10-12.

Building meaningful relationships with students has been my charge since I started at DCG in 2007, and it will continue to be #1 on my priority list! I expect each student at DC-G to find at least one trusting adult for which they can share their educational journey.

We offer a tremendously varied and rich curriculum for our students, as well as top-notch activities and clubs for them to be involved. Our teachers, coaches and sponsors work extremely hard to involve as many students as possible, as well as strive to be the best in each and every activity.

I will support our teachers in their Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) by adhering to the “4 Questions”:

What do we want students to learn?
How will we know if they have learned it?
What will we do if they already know it?
What will we do if they don’t learn it?

We will strive to communicate frequently with students, parents and community members of the happenings at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. If you ever have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
